Booking an appointment was so easy compared to getting into a dentist in the US that I thought I might have missed something. They were very accommodating of my schedule and completed all the work on my teeth very quickly and mostly painlessly. Ramon was there whenever I or the dentists needed help with translation and he followed up with me multiple times following my appointment to check how my mouth was healing.

  Sorry for the long story, but it was an interesting one.I had a root canal preemptively redone in the … More US on January 23 to avoid issues during an upcoming long trip through South America. The procedure did not help me much as I started feeling pain around this tooth after a couple of weeks. Later, while in Quito, as the pain became worse, I went to a recommended dentist office who told me to extract 2 molars as soon as possible and come back to Ecuador to install 2 implants in 6 & 10 months. I was of course not thrilled to lose 2 teeth and pay for the expensive treatment!I then searched for another dentist office in Quito (with English speaking personal) for a second opinion. I found ASIRI where two of their dentists, with different specialties, looked at the tomography and found the 2 teeth to be OK! Then their periodontist looked at the alignment of the teeth. He corrected the height of one of the crowns and told me that I was grinding my teeth at night. The cause of the pain was probably a misalignment of the teeth that would put pressure on the nerves. The periodontist also did a deep cleaning and suggested wearing a mouth-guard at night to relieve the pressure on the nerves. After the mouth-guard was installed, the pain started subsiding slowly and now, 6 weeks later, I nearly don’t feel the pain anymore.Thanks to the great team at ASIRI for diagnosing and fixing the cause of the pain and saving my teeth! Thanks also for accommodating my tight schedule and finishing the treatment before I left Ecuador. I really enjoyed the interaction with everybody at their office and I would recommend ASIRI without hesitation.
